Charity Fundraising Assistant – Entry Level | Immediate Hire

We partner with charitable organizations to raise awareness of their programs and create meaningful community impact. We are seeking a motivated Charity Fundraising Assistant to join our growing team. This role is the first point of contact for the Fundraising and Marketing & Communications teams, handling donor interactions, database management, and supporting a variety of fundraising initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates who are passionate about philanthropy, eager to learn, and want hands-on experience in fundraising, donor relations, and nonprofit marketing. Paid training and mentorship are provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for all internal and external fundraising inquiries
• Provide a high standard of customer care, ensuring timely acknowledgment of donors
• Work with management and communications teams to prepare and send accurate, engaging donor communications
• Support fundraising and promotional events, including planning, logistics, and on-site assistance
• Maintain and update the donor database, including training colleagues and ensuring accurate data entry
• Administer data input, amendments, reports, and queries as required
• Assist the fundraising team in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
• Stay informed on fundraising initiatives and sector news
• Introduce new ideas and initiatives, taking ownership of assigned tasks
