DescriptionWe are seeking a Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Lead to join Wood based in Houston, Texas. The successful candidate will have proven experience working in diversity, equity and inclusion at a large organization. We are seeking someone to join the Diversity & Inclusion Centre of Expertise who is a self-starter, team player and eager to contribute substantively to the success of our diversity, equity and inclusion efforts to align with Wood's strategic priorities.
Working as part of the Diversity & Inclusion Centre of Expertise, this role will partner with External Technical Organizations, employee resource groups and a matrix of employees from executive leaders to graduates across the business to support the delivery of the global D&I agenda and ensure cohesion between stakeholders.Β
The role will work directly with business leaders to further the Diversity & Inclusion agenda to aid attraction and retention, working closely with the Marketing Communications team to support the delivery of effective D&I campaigns which align with strategic priorities.Β
Responsibilities
- Facilitate partnerships between employee resource groups (ERGs), internal partners, and external technical organizations to grow and support a robust and diverse talent pipeline and advance outreach efforts
- Identify and manage opportunities and relationships with external technical organizations to align with the D&I strategic goals
- Support and provide guidance to our ERGs and internal partners such as Communications, Resourcing, Talent & Development and HRBPs to help drive key strategies
- In partnership with the VP D&I and Engagement, to provide D&I consultation support for Human Resources and Executive leadership
- Ability to collaborate and shape regional variations and adapt to the needs of various global partners and requirements
- Project management and implement projects to support global strategies priorities including data analytics, insights and research
- Track and report on diversity programs and initiatives, analyzing their effectiveness and ROI

Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Management or related field

Knowledge, skills and experience:
- 5 years+ of DEI, Human Resources or related experience required
- Understanding of the D&I landscape and experiences of delivering D&I related projects
- Ability to engage a broad range of stakeholders and drive participation in D&I activities
- Excellent project management skills including the ability to plan, set goals, and manage time, priorities, resources, accountabilities, schedules and costs
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to convey information and ideas to individuals and groups
- Able to work on multiple projects of various size and complexity
- Creative problem-solving capabilities with keen awareness of and attention to details
- Advanced organization and time management skills and comfort with working in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated a commitment to continuous learning and development
- Experience in a large scale global organization
