Position Summary: |
Help people from the community and at the University of Dayton find ways to make worship more accessible for children with disabilities! This position helps staff a 5-year grant that uses theology, Montessori educational principles, and the work of faculty, staff and community members in disability fields, to serve area churches and the needs of kids. This is a full-time, 10 month, benefit eligible position. Apply today! Primary purpose: The primary purpose of this full-time, 10 month position is to provide administrative support for a 5-year grant from the Lilly Endowment that will allow both faculty and students at the University of Dayton, as well as up to twelve parishes and congregations in the Miami Valley region, to explore how to enhance worship for children with disabilities. The person in this position will be working one-on-one with faculty, students, and area churches to determine needs, follow up on church/UD collaborations, order materials, and provide support or referrals as needed. This position will also provide the administrative support for planned regional meetings and conferences that take place during the grant period. |
