[What the role is]
National Council of Social Service (NCSS) offers a comprehensive learning internship designed to immerse students in Singapore's social service landscape. This programme provides structured exposure to sector development, research methodologies, and stakeholder engagement practices. Interns will learn from experienced professionals gaining deep insights into how social services address Singapore's evolving community needs whilst developing critical thinking and analytical skills essential for the sector.β―[What you will be working on]
β’ Conduct data collection for Whole-of-Government reporting requirements
β’ Monitor and analyse KPIs relating to the Sustainable Philanthropy Framework
β’ Create visualisations and infographics to communicate impact to management
β’ Plan Community of Practice series including identifying participants, content planning, designing collaterals, sourcing venues and managing logistics
β’ Work with Communications teams to create electronic direct mail and infographics for knowledge sharing with donors and corporates
β’ Assist with administrative tasks such as arranging meetings and maintaining performance indicator repositories

Experience & Special Certification(s):
1. Current undergraduate or postgraduate student in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Environmental Studies, Business, or International Development)
2. Strong interest in philanthropy, sustainability, and social impact
3. Excellent research and analytical skills
4. Proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
7. Familiarity with sustainable development goals (SDGs) is a plus
