major donor fundraiser to join us as
Philanthropy Manager
to help inspire and nurture
generous individuals, trusts and foundations to give to and support our human rights work.Β

It’s an exciting time for Amnesty International Aotearoa New Zealand (AIANZ) with growing donor engagement and giving in this space. This role is pivotal to our taking the next leap forward for our high value fundraising.Β 


Β 

Sound good? Here’s what you will be doing...You will work closely with our Fundraising Director to develop and deliver our programmes for major and mid-level individual and institutional donors, and bequests.Β  You will research and recruit new donors and co-ordinate the stewardship and engagement activities to achieve donor growth targets. You will support the development of our bequest programme and will manage and prepare grant funding applications.
You will have the opportunity to meet and engage with
some
exceptional and passionate philanthropists and individuals across Aotearoa and cultivate opportunities for them to partner with us.

You’ll be ideal for this role if you:Β 

  • Are committed to upholding Te
    Tiriti o Waitangi.
    Β 
  • Have strong experience in developing and implementing fundraising strategy and plansΒ 
  • Can demonstrate a proven ability to build and grow high value donations through intentional relationships with generous individuals and institutional donors within the for-impact sectorΒ Β 
  • Possess an in-depth knowledge of relationship-based fundraisingΒ Β 
  • Have sound leadership skills and high degree emotional intelligenceΒ 
  • Are known for your exceptional storytelling and presentation skills and are an all-around excellent communicatorΒ
