Join our team as a Philanthropy Specialist with the Delta Dental of Wisconsin (DDWI) Foundation! This full-time, hybrid role is based in Stevens Point, WI, offering a blend of in-office and remote work flexibility. As a key member of our Foundation team, youβll provide vital administrative and grants management support, while collaborating with other team members to enhance DDWIβs corporate philanthropy initiatives and donation programs.
The Philanthropy Specialist will:Β
Provide high-quality administrative support for DDWI Foundation and DDWI corporate philanthropy activities
- Review and triage letters of interest, progress reports and other related items.Β
- Scan, save, and properly file historical information related to our giving commitments.
- Primary team member on the teamβs Sharepoint site β build out and maintain as the central repository for shared resources
- Secondary team member on the Foundationβs shared email box β review, respond to, triage, track various requests
- Conduct research and analysis on program area issues and the philanthropic field, as needed.Β Β
- Assist with initiation of contracts with grantees, vendors and consultants, track contract execution and amendment processes, submit invoices and receipts for payment.Β
- Coordinate receipt of grant proposals/applications, compile supporting materials, vet for eligibility against criteria, facilitate distribution to reviewers, prepare correspondence, scheduling visits, reviewing progress and final reports, archive reports (delivered and collected) and grantee visits/meetings (CRM) notes, and exporting files as needed for various requested reports/presentations.
- Serve as liaison to Legal for delivery and oversite of Foundationβs signed agreements/contracts, and the Compliance/Finance teams for annual reporting Form 990.
- Serve as liaison for technology, officeΒ supplies, facilities management, catering, and other key vendors or internal partnersΒ
Provide excellent customer service to external and internal constituents.Β
- Answer phone calls and emails from grantseekers, grantees and internal colleagues.Β
- Work closely with grantseekers and grantees to gather information, resolve routine issues, and respond to general queries about letters of interest, proposals, active grants, and grantmaking strategies and priorities.Β
- Support the companyβs VIP (volunteer involvement program),with internal event tasks and reporting on employee engagement (hours served, testimonials from experience) as assigned
