Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Program Manager-Philanthropy to join our team. The Program Manager-Philanthropy is responsible for all Hospital Sisters of St. Francis Foundation (HSSFF) (75% of position) and Hospital Sisters Good Shepherd Foundation (25% of position) annual fundraising activities. This activity includes managing a donor/prospect portfolio of annual/major/planned gift solicitations along with leading site-specific appeals and events in accordance with HSSFF standards. This role will personally engage donors, community leaders, physicians and caregivers, department leaders and other volunteers in the fundraising process.

o Location: Hybrid, 3 days/week Litchfield, 1-2 days/month Shelbyville

INTERNET SPEED REQUIREMENTS:

Education Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Philanthropic Studies, Business, Finance or related field is required.
  • High School Diploma plus 5 years related experience in communications, marketing, sales, wealth management, or fundraising may be considered.in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.
Experience Qualifications
  • 3 years’ experience in planning and execution of donor/client solicitation or new business activities is required (This experience is in addition to experience used in lieu of degree).
  • Experience with fundraising and data management systems is required. Raiser's Edge experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience with moves management process, including prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship is preferred.
