POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing data support to the ID/LGBTQ Department, including but not limited to coordinating data reporting, managing program data systems, outputting reports, assisting with AIRS and other data platforms as required by funders, reporting handling administrative functions related to data analysis, ensuring that program projections, deliverables, and data are accurate, ensuring that information is accurately captured in AIRS and ECW, and providing other necessary data-related support to program leadership and staff. The analyst will work closely with Program Managers to monitor performance, identify trends, and support data-informed decision-making.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages the ID/LGBTQ Department's data needs including data collection, input, management, and report output.
- Assists the Director of ID/LGBTQ Programs in collecting and tracking rosters, data management, and tracking sheet requirements for both internal and external providers.
- Troubleshoots any data discrepancies and caseload reporting issues and corrects errors in a timely manner.
- Ensures data accuracy and fidelity and coordinates roster assignments, maintains up-to-date records in relevant systems.
- Responsible for tracking, maintaining, and updating services and client information in AIRS when necessary.
- Manages AIDS Institute and other required databases, including working with AIRS data reporting and technical assistance agencies.
- Assists the Director of ID/LGBTQ Programs with all mandatory reports for the NYS AI and additional funders, as needed.
- Prepares weekly internal reports and monthly reports for internal review and performance monitoring.
- Maintains a high degree of confidentiality in all aspects of CHN work and sets and maintains this standard for those working in the ID/LGBTQ Department, including data management, training, staff support, recordkeeping, and filing.
- Participates in meetings with the DOH and other stakeholders, as required, to review data, reporting, and program performance.
- Provides office support in answering phones, sending faxes, photocopying, typing, and filing, as needed.
- Works on special projects and other tasks such as grant applications, research, data analysis, and other programmatic initiatives, as appropriate.
- Collaborates closely with Program Managers and other program staff to develop, refine, and monitor data collection tools, performance indicators, and quality improvement efforts.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned by supervisor.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or Satisfactory equivalent required.
- Associateβs degree preferred
- At least one year of experience working with computer systems required.Β
- Experience with data validation and analysis preferred, including but not limited to, AIRS or similar data systems.
