We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Director of DEI to join our team in Las Vegas. This hands-on role involves partnering closely with leaders and People & Culture (P&C) business partners to enhance engagement and retention. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DEI initiatives, employee engagement, and relationship-building.

What You'll Do

  • Visionary & Hands-On Leadership: Set the vision for Aristocrat’s inclusive culture while actively executing initiatives, balancing strategic leadership with practical implementation.

  • Inclusive Policy Implementation: Lead the development and application of inclusive policies and practices that promote a sense of belonging and equity for all team members.

  • Engagement and Retention Initiatives: Partner with cross-functional teams to design and execute programs aimed at boosting employee engagement and retention, ensuring every voice is heard and valued.

  • Thought Leadership: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, advocating for inclusive practices and embedding DEI principles into business strategies, talent management, and workplace policies.

  • Educational Programs: Develop and facilitate training sessions and workshops that promote awareness, understanding, and appreciation of diversity within our teams.

  • Collaborative Strategy Development: Work alongside business leaders, Talent CoE team members, and P&C partners to co-create and implement DEI strategies that resonate with our organizational values and goals.

  • Community Building: Foster a culture of inclusivity by organizing events and initiatives that celebrate diverse perspectives and backgrounds.

  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with stakeholders to assess the effectiveness of DEI initiatives, gathering feedback to refine and enhance our approaches continually.

  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyze workforce data, employee feedback, and engagement surveys to identify trends and opportunities, ensuring our DEI efforts are measurable and impactful.

  • Proactive Issue Identification: Regularly assess internal and external trends to anticipate DEI-related challenges, design programs, and work with leaders to implement proactive solutions.

  • Accountability & Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for DEI programs, ensuring alignment with Aristocrat’s broader people and culture goals

What We're Looking For

  • A minimum of 7 years in roles such as P&C Business Partner, Talent Partner, DEI leader, or a combination thereof, with primary responsibility for setting the vision for DEI, planning strategies, and executing initiatives.

  • Experience in global organizations is preferable, demonstrating an understanding of diverse cultural contexts and practices.

  • Proven ability to lead with empathy, fostering strong relationships and trust across all organizational levels.

  • Demonstrated success in working collaboratively with various teams to achieve common goals.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire others.

  • Ability to analyze data to inform and adapt DEI strategies effectively.

Pay Range

$164,500 - $305,500 per year

Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
