Job Description
This position will perform basic data analysis, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) tasks, and software programming, such as: digitizing, editing of created datasets, attribution of created datasets, quality assessment and quality control of weather and groundwater pumping datasets. Additionally, this position will develop and execute software scripts to process weather data and satellite imagery. Field work will be performed for weather station maintenance, vegetation mapping, and application of GIS in the field.
Basic computer skills, such as use of spreadsheets, documents
Problem solving;
Familiarity with and ability to learn GIS;
Completed college coursework in math, physics, geology, and environmental science.
