Position Summary:ย 

The Grant Coordinator supports the work of ECH's Grants Team by assisting the Grant Manager and Strategic Funding Director with grant writing and the management of awarded grants. This role helps ensure the efficient and timely completion of grant applications, deliverables, and reporting, as well as adherence to deadlines and spend-downs.

Reporting to the Grants Manager, the Grant Coordinator serves as an active member of the Grants Team, acting as a Grant Lead when assigned and as a resource and liaison to other designated Grant Leads to support the successful fulfillment of all grant requirements. This position collaborates closely with program leadership, Finance, data/QA, marketing, and funders. The role advances ECH's mission through the ASQ framework by expanding access to care through grant-funded programs, ensuring responsible stewardship of grant resources and compliance obligations, and supporting quality outcomes through accurate reporting, data integrity, and continuous improvement.

Essential Functions:

  • Grant Writing:
    • Work collaboratively with the Grant Manager and/or department leads to identify, research, and submit local, state, federal, and/or foundation grant applications that support the organization's work.
  • Grant Management:
    • Support the implementation of grant programs under the guidance of the Grant Manager.
    • Maintain grant tracking systems, calendars, and documentation.
    • Monitor grant requirements to ensure timely completion of reports and deliverables.
    • Act as Grant Lead on assigned grants and provide oversight to designated Grant Leads.
    • Support grant-related site visits, audits, and funder communications.
  • Financial and Data Coordination
    • Partner with Finance to support grant budgeting, invoicing, and expense tracking.
    • Monitor expenditures to ensure alignment with approved budgets and timelines.
    • Collaborate with QA and data staff to identify, collect, and validate data for reporting.
    • Support departments in establishing clear data collection processes.
  • Organizational Support
  • Foster cross-department collaboration to support successful grant implementation.
  • Support special projects related to grants or funding priorities as assigned.
  • Other Duties:
    • Perform additional duties, as assigned, to support the Grant Manager and organizational needs.

  • Grant writing and/or management experience, interest, and/or strong aptitude to learn.

Work Environment:ย 

The position is a hybrid set-up. A well-equipped work-from-home office is essential for productive, practical work, and the in-person work environment is in the healthcare clinic's administrative office. The work can be fast-paced and involves communication with healthcare professionals. This role is clerical in nature. It requires the Ability to work autonomously and stay on task.
