Job Description:
Strategic Leadership: Ongoing development and implementation of the Saks Fifth Avenue Foundationβs strategy in alignment with its mission to make mental health a priority in every community.
Partnership Management:Β Act as the primary liaison with nonprofit partners, overseeing regular communication, progress reporting, and relationship management to ensure strong, lasting partnerships.
Foundation Operations:Β Β Β Lead all operational aspects of the Foundation, including budget management, governance, and internal reporting processes.
Marketing & Storytelling:Β Collaborate with internal and external teams to communicate the Foundationβs impact to customers, employees, partners, and other stakeholders.
Fundraising & Campaign Development:Β Drive fundraising efforts including event planning, charitable product development, and innovative campaign ideation and execution.
Cross-Functional Engagement:Β Partner with departments across the organization to activate employee engagement programs and integrate the Foundationβs mission throughout the company culture.Β
Broader Nonprofit Engagement:Β Support additional philanthropic efforts, including volunteer programs, charity sponsorships, and partnerships that elevate emerging designers and foster the next generation of retail and fashion leaders.
Brand Integration:Β Work closely with public relations, events and experiences, top client, and brand partnership teams to authentically infuse the companyβs social impact initiatives into our brand presence.
Required Qualifications (Minimum Requirements):
A passion for social impact and corporate social responsibility
An innovative thinker who is comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving complex challenges
A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and moves quickly with precision
Impeccable attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives
Experience working independently and collaboratively across teams and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications (nice to haves):
5+ years experience in philanthropy, nonprofit management, social impact strategy, or a related field
Strong understanding of corporate giving, fundraising, and nonprofit operations
Background in marketing, communications, or event planning is a plus
Familiarity with mental health initiatives or community-based programs is highly desirable
Must be willing to work in New York City office 3 days/week
