Philanthropy Portfolio Associate

Social Capital Foundation (SCF) is the philanthropic branch of Blink Impact, an international single-family office focused on creating measurable social and environmental impact. Guided by Blink Impact’s vision β€œChallenging the existing for a brighter future”, SCF works to reduce inequality through entrepreneurship in a greener world.Β

Our work is grounded in four core values: respect, integrity, openness and curiosity. These values shape how we collaborate with partners, engage with local communities and make funding decisions β€” with humility, transparency and a strong sense of responsibility.

SCF works under a venture philanthropy model where grants and concessional investments are used with the intention to maximise impact. Our primary impact goal is to improve income, jobs, skills and agency of underserved populations, particularly low-income women and youth in developing countries. Our geographic focus is primarily East Africa and Latin America, complemented by selected initiatives in other regions.

We work with best-in-class partners β€” NGOs, social enterprises, funds and academic institutions β€”Β  that aim to achieve large-scale impact by replicating or scaling evidence-based programs in several regions. In addition, SCF works with impact investing partners in opportunities whereby grants or philanthropic-blended investments can be effective to deliver greater impact.Β
